Schooled!

It’s Employee Appreciation Day, but I’m away from work this week for three reasons:

1) I need to take annual leave before the end of the financial year,

2) It’s the week of World Book Day and I paid visits to a couple of schools,

3) I fancied a week off.

Leaping lily pads!

Leap Year Day is either a chance to catch up with all those tasks, chores and bits and bobs that have fallen behind a little, or an opportunity to relax and unwind (although this might be frowned upon if you’re spending the day at work). Having booked the week off, I decided to do both.

Nobody breathe!

Rare Disease Day is a difficult subject to tackle. I don’t have any knowledge in this area but I don’t want to be too flippant either as it’s a serious cause, raising awareness and spreading the word (but hopefully not spreading anything else).

Who’s my candidate for Polar Bear Day? Hmmm, that’s a tough one. Oh wait, no it isn’t, as there can be only one winner: the dude from the Birds Eye adverts.
