All things weird and wonderful

All things weird and wonderful

Wonderful Weirdos Day is an absolute beauty of an occasion, as it asks us to be grateful for the oddbods in our lives. Personally I have a fair few of them in my closest circles, but instead I’d like to share a pic of a wonderfully weird creation that we can all enjoy.

The car pictured above was turned into a garden as part of Hull’s Freedom Festival 2012. Seeds for the Desert by Fiona Weir and Adele Howitt of Studio Eleven on Humber Street was a tribute to biodiversity, ideal for this four-day celebration of freedom, culture and expression. This particular car, one of many, was my favourite of the lot and sat quietly outside the studio itself. I’d like to think that the owner now has it back on the road, still filled with its floral arrangement, although that could prove a little distracting for other drivers.
