Creativity is on the cards

6th Oct, 2012 | Posted by in Blog

Card Making Day doesn’t really fill me with inspiration the way it might others. I’m a pretty creative person, being a writer, snapper and general “ideas generator” (as pretentious as that sounds), but when it comes to card making I’d rather just buy one. Yet for every yin there is a yang, and House of Betty are here to counter my failure to conjure up a cool card design.

House of Betty describe themselves as ‘a girl-tribe of creative types with a desire to share what we find most awesome’. They’re not specifically cards, but they are available (in limited quantities) as posters and postcards, and I’m sure you’ll agree they’re absolutely incredible.

In fact, they’ve inspired me to have a go at card making after all, but I doubt that mine will be in quite the same league as their designs. I doubt mine will even stand up, to be fair, what with all the dried pasta I’m going to stick to it in the shape of Darth Vader.
