He says yes

1st Dec, 2012 | Posted by in Blog

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. I’m guessing he has some kind of allergy and can’t take any chances, even around patients.

Anyway, Eat A Red Apple Day was an easy one and it got me thinking about how I no longer get my five-a-day. I used to when I worked in an office because we were offered free fruit to keep us motivated, healthy and incredibly regular, but now I’m rubbish. And the most frustrating part is that I love fruit!

As a result I’m making it an early resolution to get more apples, oranges, bananas, grapes, plums, melon, pineapple and yes, even dragon fruit inside me. Although, I have to say it’s always annoyed me that eating five apples doesn’t count, as it has to be different types of fruit. If you ask me it’s a conspiracy, initiated and managed by The Man from Del Monte. I don’t care if he says yes to the perfect pineapple, he’s a total fruit Nazi!
