X-Ray Day is another of those occasions for which I have no prior experience and no access to the required equipment. Still, have you heard of Jason Freeny?
From Mario and a Lego Man to Barbie and Hello Kitty, each has become a specimen in the artist/sculptor’s study in the diversity of fictional anatomy. The one that really creeps me out is the Gummi Bear, not simply because it’s something you eat, but because it has individual finger bones encased within its jelly stumps. You can imagine it trying to squirm them around as their casing digests in your stomach acids. Guh!
But yeah, make sure to check out Jason Freeny’s website, Moist Production – you’ll never remember your childhood the same way again.
