Once again, I’m posting the entries for Friday, Saturday and Sunday all in one go due to a busy (and in some ways lazy) weekend.

Friday was Eat What You Want Day, which was terrible timing because I ate very little that day in preparation for Saturday’s Chestnut Challenge – a plate that could have easily accommodated the entire table’s meals, filled with good, hearty food (see Saturday’s blog post for details).

Still, I did have a bacon sandwich in the morning and a bag of pink shrimp sweets in the afternoon, so the little amount I did eat certainly was delicious. Although, now that I think about it, I reckon the next week or so should see little more than celery in my lunchbox, with perhaps a slice of cucumber for dessert.
