We are getting so close to the end of the year and the frost in the air, well if you’re in the northern hemisphere, is nipping at everyone’s toes. And it is also that time of year that everyone starts prepping for all the holidays. And I’m not just talking about the more well-known ones.
You know what we are all about so here is some light being shone on the ones that you didn’t know about.
There is nothing like having a good sandwich! With so many options for fillings you just can’t go wrong! Well, you can, depending on your taste, I’m looking at you PB&J!
Mayonnaise as a sandwich dressing? You betcha, slices of pickle? Of course! Chips? Don’t look at us like that, Chip sandwiches are delicious! Carbs wrapped in carbs, don’t knock it until you try it!
What is your favorite sandwich filling?
We all have stress in our lives and this can come in many forms. However, this day is all about helping you look after yourself and your life, and break down the individual stressors in your life.
Do you know what causes you stress in your day? What do you do to combat it? Self-care plays a big part in controlling the stressors in your life and making sure that you don’t let them get out of control.
Whatever you choose to do, take the time to take a day off and let yourself have a day of freedom. If it’s sickness, do something to help you focus on something other than that sickness. Stress can be a killer, don’t let it take one more day from your life, act now and start living a stress-free life!
Have you ever tried it? I have and loved it! I had one of those desk daily calendars that you could then turn into an origami piece the next day. This got really interesting throughout the year.
I started following White on Rice on Instagram and they do some amazing pieces of origami. They have also got some crazy stop motion skills as well. Do go check them out!
The best that I can do is the typical cranes that you see everywhere, but they are very relaxing once you get into the motion and it really helps clear the head.
I love buttons! I have a couple of jars filled with all sorts of buttons. Admittedly these are very old buttons they were my Grandads and his sister’s buttons.
I use to play with them when I was younger, I don’t why, past young Sam was a bit strange. But they are varied and some have stories behind them and they have come from different places.
I am sure that I am not the only one with a jar of random buttons in their house. It’s also very hand when I lose a button off a jacket.
We are nearly at the end of the year and I have loved all the celebrations! Let’s see how many more I can celebrate next year!
