This is a day when Arabs and Jews celebrate peace between Egypt and Israel, and falafel is a favorite in most Middle East countries and by vegans and vegetarians around the world.
It has been “celebrated” unofficially since 1979 when the peace accord was signed, and I believe it deserves better status so more people can appreciate the joys of falafel, and hopefully, bring more peace to the world.
