Cole Sprouse's birthday
Cole Mitchell Sprouse is an actor that people will likely recognize for playing Cody Martin in the Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
A Young Actor
Born on August 4th, 1992 in Arezzo, Italy, Cole has American parents, Matthew Sprouse and Melanie Wright. Cole has a twin brother, Dylan Sprouse, with Cole the younger of the two, being born 15 minutes after Dylan. Just four months after living in Italy, the family moved back to Long Beach California, where he and his brother grew up.
Before Cole even reached education, he was an actor, and both he and his brother appeared as babies in various TV shows and movies. His first proper acting role was in Grace Under Fire, where he starred for five years until 1998.
Cole also featured in Big Daddy as the little boy, Julian, as well as playing another famous son when he starred in the TV sitcom, Friends, as Ross’ boy, Ben.
When Cole turned 13, he started his role in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. This career began in 2005 and is what he is most famous for.
Interest in Geology
Although Cole had an obvious love for acting, he also loved geology just as much; his grandfather was a geologist and Cole was very fond of him while growing up, so when Cole went to college, he followed in his footsteps and studied Geographic Information Systems.
After he graduated college, Cole pursued his love for both acting and geology. Yet, his next big hit wasn’t until 2016 when he starred in Riverdale as Jughead Jones. Since graduating, Cole has been featured in various films and shows including Five Feet Apart, Borrasca, and Moonshot.
Again, Cole’s educational life lead him to strive for geography rather than the entertainment industry. He left New York University for the Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where he got into humanities and archaeology.
While working as an actor, Cole pursued many archaeological hunts and lab work. He has traveled beyond America to find archaeological items from Europe to Asia. On a trip to Bulgaria, Cole unearthed a mask of Dionsyus. Much to his surprise, his undergraduate work and studies paid off and his travels were well worth it.
Another passion came to life
Another passion of Sprouse is photography. Not only does he have enough on his plate with the geographical and entertainment industries, he thought he might delve into another one too. In 2011, Cole launched his own photography website and also studied the topic at NYU. Since then, Cole has been known for shooting many images for Teen Vogue, W Magazine, and more.
