Born on January 7, 1971 in Modesto, California, Renner discovered his passion for acting while studying at Modesto Junior College. After moving to Los Angeles, he began to pursue his acting career and landed small roles in TV shows and movies.

It was in 2002 when Renner made his big break in the biographical film “Dahmer” (2002) playing the role of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, which led to a role in “S.W.A.T” (2003) which helped him gain recognition in Hollywood. He then starred in many movies such as “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford” (2007), “The Town” (2010) and “The Hurt Locker” (2008), for which he received a Best Actor Academy Award nomination.

Renner’s performance as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has become one of his most iconic roles. He joined the franchise in 2011 with the film “Thor” (2011) and has since appeared in several other films in the series.

In addition to his successful acting career, Renner has also dabbled in music and in early 2020 he launched first E.P. “The Medicine”.

On January 1, 2023, news broke that Jeremy had been hospitalized after an accident at his home involving a snowplow. The incident resulted in Renner suffering blunt chest trauma, with reports indicating that he had broken around 30 bones in total. After almost three weeks of surgery and recuperation, Jeremy was released from the hospital and returned home.
