Making things is fun, whatever your age, so why not give something new a try for Craft Month. If you’ve always fancied taking up a new hobby, why not use Craft Month as an opportunity to read a book or start a class on your chosen craft. If you have children, let them get messy and do something creative of their choosing, such as a collage, making jewellery or sculpting.
Craft Month was created to promote interest in crafts and inspire people to give things a go. If you’ve been holding back on trying something new for fear of failure, there’s never been a better time to just be brave and give it a go! And, if making things really isn’t something you fancy, why not use Craft Month as an excuse to check out your local craft market and support local traders.
