History of National CanDo Day
National CanDo Day began in 2020. It was created by Adam Bremen, who was born with cerebral palsy. He uses a wheelchair and has faced physical challenges his whole life.
In 2017, at the age of 42, he made a big change. He switched to a keto diet and lost 65 pounds. He also gained energy and felt better every day. This shift gave him the confidence to try something new.
He launched a snack bar company called Keto Krisp. It focused on simple, healthy ingredients for people with busy lives. But Adam wanted to do more than sell snacks.
He wanted to encourage others to believe in themselves, even when things felt hard. That idea turned into National CanDo Day.
The day reminds people to focus on what they can do, not what they can’t. It celebrates effort, drive, and forward motion. Adam’s message is simple: anyone can take action, one step at a time. The day spreads a hopeful message across the country.
Businesses, schools, and individuals join in to support the CanDo spirit. It’s all about turning possibility into real progress.
Adam’s story continues to inspire others to believe in their own strength and take charge of their goals.
