When I bought my house two years ago I didn’t really think about the fact that it had two compost bins waaay at the bottom of the garden. To be honest I had no idea what I could and could not put in these, let’s be honest, ugly bins. I still have problems today trying to figure out what can go into them. Egg shell, tea bags, shredded paper really!?

Composting, I have come to realise is a fine art; It’s not something that you can do casually. You need to be paying attention to not only what you are putting in but how you are putting things in. I have gather a few tips to help you get started into the world of composting.

I told you that there is a lot to take into account when getting into this composting business! From a small back yard to acres of land, you can really start your own composter wherever you are to help your garden along in those rough months.
