We don’t have a receptionist at work, we have a client care operative. Still, she does answer the phones, and she also receives visitors (as well as carry out countless other duties), and that’s close enough for the purposes of Receptionists Day.

So today we all treated this person very well indeed – we sang her a song, gave her buns and presents, and generally made a big fuss about her for a while with a total disregard for all other responsibilities.

It was her birthday, granted, but it still counts, right?

Oh, and that’s not her above, although she is very smiley… and there’s a chance the technological levels are about the same.
