Jumpers for charity

Jumpers for charity

Today, Friday 12 December, is Ugly Christmas Sweater Day, encouraging us to rummage around and find a particularly crazy-looking woolly garment that’s been hidden away for a year, or maybe even buy one specially. Various charities across the world make the most of this occasion by inviting the public and organisations to raise funds in a fun and festive way, and you could double your good deed by purchasing one from a charity shop.

I’m wearing my jumper in aid of Save the Children UK. If you’d like to donate £2, all you have to do is text TEAMPENGUIN6 to 70050 and they do the rest. Just £2 could pay for potentially life-saving antibiotics to treat three babies with infections, so every donation makes a big difference.

If you do sponsor me, thank you so much. If you sponsor someone else, that’s fantastic. If you can’t spare the money to donate right now, please just wear a holly jolly jumper and spread some cheer!
