World Change Day
This global call for conscious transformation comes from the awareness that lasting change in society begins with each and every individual.
In a world facing increasing levels of stress, division, and uncertainty, World Change Day endeavors to provide a thread of hope, clarity, and the power of transformation.
How to Celebrate World Change Day
With the reminder that change is not a trend, it’s a universal need, get started with some of these ideas for celebrating World Change Day:
Invest in Positive Personal Change
Get inspired on this day as you strive for conscious positive change in your own life. It doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
Just make a pact with yourself to do one small thing until it becomes a habit – like going for a walk, visiting a sacred space, or learning to regulate your nervous system with breathing exercises.
Once you’ve made one small change, consider another one. And feel free to invite a friend to participate as well!Â
Attend a World Change Day Event
Each year, World Change Day is acknowledged and honored through various events, activities, workshops and initiatives that take place across different countries and continents.
Grab this chance to gather with others who have a similar mindset and want to change the world together!Â
From concerts and dances to learning new breathing exercises and listening to speeches, each event takes on a joyful personality of its own – and you won’t want to miss it.
Positive change is not only worth working at, but it’s also worth celebrating.Â
Host a World Change Day Event
Can’t find an event happening in your city or neighborhood? That’s okay!
On World Change Day, it’s absolutely encouraged to be the change you want to see in the world – and that might include being a starter for an event in your community.Â
Gather change-minded friends, family members, neighbors and more ahead of time. This might include people from schools, community groups, churches, organizations and so much more.
Then consider what type of event might be best for the contest. Perhaps it would be fun to plan an outdoor awareness event at the park, host a yoga and meditation course, or just gather at a block party for neighbors in the community to get to know each other better!
