Meet Raekwon, the Wu-Tang Clan’s culinary master of rhymes. His smooth flow and raw storytelling provide hip-hop fans with dishes that are both flavorful and satisfying. Raekwon was born Corey Woods on January 12th 1970 in Staten Island, New York and raised amongst tough neighborhoods. Growing up, he developed an appreciation of hip-hop music but it wasn’t until he met RZA and joined the Wu-Tang Clan that his passion for emceeing truly blossomed.

Raekwon’s career took off in the mid-90s when Wu-Tang Clan released their debut album, “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)” (1993), which became an enormous success. He quickly established himself as one of their most talented members and went on to release several solo albums such as “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…” (1995) and “Immobilarity” (1999), cementing himself as a gifted storyteller and adept wordsmith.

Since then he has released several more studio albums, such as “The Lex Diamond Story” (2003), “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… Pt. II” (2009) and “The Wild” (2017).
