Wearing shoes? You lose.

5th Apr, 2012 | Posted by in Blog

I have to admit that I didn’t go without shoes for most of One Day Without Shoes Day, but to be fair I wasn’t only at work, but also at a press launch for the Hull Marathon, which takes place this Sunday.

And it wouldn’t look very good if I turned up to something I’d organised sans foot covering (although someone did take theirs off at one point as their feet were aching).

To further foil my attempts at marking this occasion, I started feeling queasy around 4pm, and as soon as I got home around 5:30 I was mightily ill. I’ve just spent the last 23 hours in bed (hence the late post), feeling feverish and ejecting my stomach contents for no apparent reason, but I seem to be over the worst of it.

And now, once I’ve posted this backdated entry, I need to write the one for Walk To Work Day, which is typical really as, even if I weren’t ill, today is Good Friday, so there isn’t any work anyway.
